Try out; new studio
The STU came back from boek recordings with three
songs on disc.
We will use the songs recorded to create a nice portfolio about the bands livefeeling; from sweet countryballads to uptempo rock, always in touch with all that makes (hopefully!!) our music timeless.

Three times in a row!
Hi! In STU-land, everything is possible!
We are at the present introducing a new member to the band and later on, to you guys!
Playing bass, with actual experience from the city of musicschools, Los Angeles, comes Petter Stenberg.
Petter has been rehearsing with us for a couple of weeks and will appear live for the first time on friday!
The program "Country", hosted by Kalle Oldby gave us
"three in a row"! Our album everlasting circus was selected by qualityinspector Oldby three programs in a row!

This morning I was checking up the website
to Kalle Oldbys program "Country". This is a
truly remarkable radioshow!
As the entire band were die hard fans to "Casino"(why do all the good shows come to an to early end?)
we were not happy about the reduced airtime given to the show "Country".
Anyhow, to my jawdropping surprise I see that Kalle in his sneek for the upcoming show tomorrow has announced that he will be playing, tadaaaa, yours truly: The STU.
Perhaps one should be cool about this event and react:
So what!
That´s not The STU!
Happy and proud as hell, we are!
In our book Kalle equals quality!
That man knows his way around good music!
A milemark for us, indeed!

Thaaaaaank you for the warmth
given to us during the gig at Sigurdsgatan 25.
We really enjoyed playing for you.
This week our fullength album "Everlasting Circus"
will meet radiostations across Scandinavia. As we said previously, we are more than happy about the way our single "Connie" is being treated by radio.
Hopefully our album will get a similar reception.

Hi there!
We had a kickin´good time at Westerqwarn this friday.
Lots of people and a very enjoyable atmosphere!
We tried our new sound system, Mackie all the way!!, and
it delivered even better than we hoped!
Well, last week they played us on swedish national radio(P4 extra)
for the first time.(Norway was one week ahead!)
We also had us some laughing moments as we sat down and watched the DVD taken at OSE countryfestival.
We are very pleased with the sound quality. The guys said that the sound will be even better on the final cut!
It will be available for sale in a couple of weeks.
We will be back with info on how to buy it.
This weeks high is of course the sneakpeakrelease of
Everlasting Circus at Sigurdsgatan 25, old Village club.
The entrance of 150 kronor will include a CD!! Tickets available on ticnet or at the restaurant.
Hopefully we will see you all on saturday!

We are very proud and happy to see that our single
has reached beyond the mediaflow and in to the radiostations! We are currently being heard at several of the swedish and norwegian radiostations. We are also proud to confirm that we at this moment are listed as "best right now" at rootsy.nu! Those guys are not any guys, let me tell you!!
In three weeks time we hope that our new full-length album will reach out to everyone interested in STU-music = Good music!!!;o)
Next time to listen to the STU will be in the countryclub of Westerqwarn - friday 23 february. It´s an afterwork session on the countryside. So all you hardworking men and woman: Join the STU for a well earned evening of country, americana, folk and rock music! If your not hardworking: We wont tell!

Available at every radiostation!
Congrats! Our single is now available at every station in
Sweden and at NRK-stations in Norway. Why don´t you mail the station and ask them to play the song "Connie" performed by The STU?
Hopefully you guys will make lots of airtime for our single.
Anyhow - It seems as it will be a a release gig march 3rd - Västerås - Sigurdsgatan 18(Village). We would appreciate if you guys would come! Stay tuned for more news, and remember to ask for STU and the amazing single "Connie".

Radiosingle on the way!
Confident Music will release our radiosingle next week!
"Connie" will be first track and and "A night out" will be second. As you listen to them you will notice a certain amount of change in style! Not to worry there will be alot of the old style STU on the album as well! Anyhow we thought theese songs represent the feeling of the album in a good way. Hi everyone! Back in business so to speak! We hope you guys have had the best of holidays. For us in the STU-crew it´s an exciting year. A radiosingle will be released late january and our album will be released late february or early march. We are booked as the first band actually to play at the Furuvik festival and we are also booked at Seljord festival - Norway. At this very moment we are waiting for live shots taken by Norwegian television at our gig at Ose festival last summer. HI! We are so pleased at the moment! We have really pulled it together when we needed it the most. Our recordingsession at Silence studios was really a thrill! We completed more than we could ever have dreamed of. As you read this, our producer Tony Thorén is making more of his magic mixing the album thats been technically engineered by Anders Lind. At the present we don´t know whether we will release a radiosingle first and the album afterwards or if we will give the world our entire album, as soon as we think it´s ready. This will be a discussion between the STU and the recordcompany. Stay tuned guys, you wont regret it!!!

Hi! Long time no seen! Hope that all is well! In STU-country things are really looking bright. We are enjoying a busy fall. Recordingsession will take place in the Hotland woods! Of course, the producer is also hot even though he is more known in terms of mills on fire. Do I sound mysterious? Silence and live with it! We love you guys, never doubt that! Denmark embraced the STU and we put all our effort in doing the same with entire Vejle truckstop festival. Big hearted people everywhere. Great linedancing added even more to the atmosphere! What about them trucks!!! We felt as we had been transported to the heart of the US.
During our stay in Denmark we decided material for our upcoming album. The new album will feature songs written by STU-members Josefine and Jonas. Well, not only be featuring: The entire album will be STU-stuff! On the way home we closed the deal with producer, studio and technical engineering. Amazing! We are very eager to get started.
What studio? Who is producing? Stay tuned and you will soon find out!
We plan to have the album ready late september or mid october. Release might just make this side of new year!

Spectacular scenery! The STU-crew can´t remember if they have ever played at a venue with such outstanding scenery as in Ose! Add to that great audience(some travelled 500 km just to listen to STU!!) and first class sound! Of course the weather didn´t let us down! Thanks for all the appreciation we´ve got from all the fans by e-mail! Keep mailing - Your mail is a great comfort travelling some 1000 km to do 45 minutes of great STU-show!
Our search for producer and studio continues. Watch out for the STU-mobile! We are leaving for Denmark on friday morning!

Another great festival behind us! Hällekis gave spectacular swedish summer. Big thank you to Sven with family for a great welcome after we got lost on the gravel roads. Great lodging at Kollängen gave us well needed recreation after many miles on the road. Also a big hand to the soundengineering at the festival: Very fast with monitorfeedback gave excellent result! Thank you Hällekis for great value!
In two days we will be leaving for Ose, Norway and the festival at Sörlandet; featuring Dwight Yoakham, Bobby Bare and of course.... yours truly - The STU!!!!!
We have started the process of getting a producer for our next album. We hope to start recordings in late august! This album will be the first STU-album with 100% of our own material!

Yiiihaaa! High Chaparall!!!!!! What a place!! Great people and great atmosphere. We had a good rocking time. Friday and saturday gave spectacular shows. We must not forget the sweet sounding friends in the band Rekyl. Without their excellent ears and big hearts we would have sounded awful! We still want to buy your voicepackage, guys! Tomorrow we are of to spend time with Carlene Carter, Marty Stuart and a lot of other great musiscians playing at the Vinstrafestival in Norway!!! See ya!

Long time no seen! News from our dear pal Tanya dennis. Tanya will tour the waters between Florida and south america. She has just laid her hands on a yacht and will use the boat as a tourbus, sorry boat! Tanya told me that "They are starving for some live music down there!" Not bad when springtime is not to be seen. She will bring herself, the violin and the guitar!! Why not a STU-tour in the west indies? Well for now we are happy to invite you all to Ögir on skärtorsdagen, 13 th of april. Anything else? Yeah, of course: Dennis T is no longer in his twenties!!! See you at Ögir!!

Country & Truckstopfestival in Denmark will never be the same after the 29 july ! We are very greateful for the oppurtunity!
At the present The STU are on their way to start up the work with new posters. After a slow january the band will enjoy a birthdayparty in Örebro, celebrating Josefine on her xx th birthday! This will be the startpoint of The STU - 2006. New songs to rehearse and magic to be made! You know that special STU-magic that really is one of a kind!
